Reggie McKenzie sure does love his former Packer players. The Raiders announced they have signed linebacker Vic So'oto who played in seven games last season for the Packers. He become the fourth former Packer to sign with the Raiders since McKenzie took over as GM.

The 6-foot-2, 255-pound So'oto was signed by the Packers last offseason as an undrafted free agent out of BYU. He saw action in six games last season, mostly on special teams. He compiled seven total tackles and one sack along with three special teams tackles.

The Packers would likely have held onto him but he suffered an ankle injury and was placed on injured reserve on Aug. 31. He was waived-injured (injury settlement) on Sept. 10.

To make room on the team's active roster, the Raiders Tuesday waived linebacker Carl Ihenacho. The team also released defensive tackle Vaughn Meatoga from the practice squad

So'oto is a second cousin of Junior Seau.
