The Oakland Raiders have announced the signing of wide receiver Derek Hagan. The six-year veteran receiver was with the Raiders in last year's training camp and the first seven games of last season. He spent the final four games of last season with the Buffal Bills.
The Bills brought him back this year and he was in their training camp and preseason but was released in their final roster cuts.
The 6-foot-2, 210-pound Hagan has played in 69 games with eight starts of his six seasons. He came in with the Miami Dolphins as a third round pick out of Arizona State University. He has also played with the New York Giants along with the Raiders and Bills.
His career totals include 109 receptions for 1,221 yards and six touchdowns.
The Palmdale, Calif., native finished his collegiate career at Arizona State as the Pac-10's all-time leader with 258 receptions.
To make room on the 53-player roster, the Raiders waived cornerback Coye Francies who was recently claimed off waivers from the Seattle Seahawks.
