The Raiders suffered a few injuries lately and are in need of a replacements. They have also gotten a good look at the players they have and are looking to move around some pieces to make sure they have the best players. With those two factors in mind, they worked out several players this week, according to Adam Caplan:
#Raiders worked out WR Joe Adams, S Sherrod Martin, WRs Preston Parker and Demetrius Williams, and RB Bernard Scott.

Sherrod Martin could be the headliner of the group. The former round two pick by the Panthers was the team's fulltime starter two seasons ago. He lost his job last season and was placed on IR late in the season. He was not healthy this off-season and went unsigned. He would add depth to the safety position with Tyvon Branch out.
Joe Adams was a fourth round pick by the Panthers in the 2012 draft and after one season with the team, they cut him. He is a return specialist who had 11 punt returns and 9 kick returns for the team his rookie season.
The team seems to be pursuing return men for some reason. Preston Parker is also a return specialist. He spent the past three season with the Buccaneers. He can do a bit of receiving as well, having caught 40 balls in 2011 for 554 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Demetrius Williams is the third receiver the team worked out. Williams has been out of football for two whole seasons. The former round four pick out of Oregon spent his first four seasons with the Ravens starting just 4 total games and averaging just under 16 catches per season. His last game was in Cleveland in 2010. He spent camp with the Jaguars this year but failed to make the team.
Bernard Scott played a decent bit as a reserve running back for the Bengals his first three seasons in the NFL. He was on the PUP list this season and waived by the team on September 17. The team might need a running back if Darren McFadden is expected to miss some time.
