Week 5 NFL game picks

We enter the second quarter of the 2013 NFL season this week. With it we have another bunch of picks for the week's games. We also have another shuffling of spots our prognosticator rankings.

After an 8-8 week dropped me to second place behind SOB, I have retaken the lead with a 10-5 record for last week's games while SOB had a rough week dropping below .500 in his picks, turning in a 7-8 mark. Being the only one to incorrectly pick the Buccaneers to beat the Cardinals didn't help matters. He and I both swung and missed on thinking the 49ers would continue to struggle and lose to the Rams.

I wasn't the only one to turn in a 10-5 record - Jeff Spiegel and RDreamer also came in at 10-5, although RDreamer, aka Raideredamus missed on the one prediction that meant the most to him - the Raiders. Jeff helped his cause by being the only one to correctly predict the upstart Bills would defeat the defending Super Bowl champion Ravens.

We were correct on four of six consensus picks. We all got the Colts, Seahawks, Broncos, and Saints while collectively missing on the Bengals as they fell to the Browns and the Bears losing the battle of offense in Detroit.

This week's consensus picks are the Chiefs, Rams, Broncos, and Falcons. With only four across-the-board picks, it should get pretty interesting once again. We also have a few lone wolves with RDreamer picking the Bears over the Saints, Marcus picking the Bengals to beat the Patriots and Asher picking the Lions over the Packers.
