The afternoon games are about to start. Normally this would include the Raiders but not this week. This week they were moved to Prime Time. Well, perhaps a bit past prime time. They don't kick off until 8:30pm Pacific time which is 11:30pm Eastern time. So, let's enjoy the afternoon games free of Raiders football.
The game of most interest for Raiders fans will be the Broncos playing the Cowboys. The Broncos are expected to win this one pretty easily much as they have all season thus far. Peyton Manning is on a tear and continues to look like he will be setting a new single season passing record at age 37. The Cowboys are hoping some home cooking could stifle those plans.
Cam Newton and the Panthers also travel to Arizona to face former Raiders quarterback, Carson Palmer, and the Cardinals. Neither team looks like they will make any noise this season. Newton is off to a slow start and Palmer looks much like he has his whole career -- good numbers but can't quite seal the deal.
Those are the only two games on the docket for the afternoon but should offer plenty to talk about, so go to town.
