The Raiders saw their former starting left and right tackles return to practice this week. One of them will be jumping right back into the starting job while the other still needs some time before returning.

Dennis Allen revealed today that right tackle Tony Pashos will take over as the starting right tackle now that he has returned from his hip injury. Last week Menelik Watson got the start just a week after being active for the first time this season. He struggled some versus the Giants and the team would like to get him some more practice time before throwing him to the wolves if at all possible.

Jared Veldheer is coming off partial season injured reserve and will require some time to get back into the swing of things. He hadn't taken a snap since halfway through training camp when he tore his triceps muscle which required surgery. Dennis Allen said Thursday that Veldheer is experiencing soreness, as would be expected, and the team has a three week window to work with before they must make a decision.

Having Pashos back will help things along the line. But for now, Khalif Barnes will remain the starter at left tackle.
