Raiders vs Titans Thursday injury report: Titans lose top defensive end, starting right tackle

New, comments
Frederick Breedon

The Thursday injury report is out and while nothing has changed with regard to the statuses of Raiders players, the Titans are a different story. They saw a few changes in players' statuses, including that of two starters missing practice for the first time.

Those starters are their starting defensive end, Derrick Morgan and starting right tackle, David Stewart. Both players practiced Wednesday and were absent on Thursday putting their status for Sunday's game in doubt.

Morgan is the team's top pass rushing defensive end. He leads the team with 12 quarterback hurries and is tied for second on the team with 4.0 sacks on the year.

Stewart has started at right tackle for the Titans the past eight seasons including all of this season.

These two losses would be rather significant should they be out for Sunday's game. It is worth monitoring on tomorrow's final injury report.
