The Raiders are set to try and reach .500 at the the midseason point. They will face one of the best offenses in the NFL in the Eagles. The Eagles in turn will face one of the best defenses in the NFL.
Let's start with the inactives for both teams:
Raiders: WR Andre Holmes, WR Brice Butler, SS Tyvon Branch, DE Ryan Robinson, C Andre Gurode, DE Brian Sanford, OT Tony Pashos
Eagles: QB Mike Vick, RB Matthew Tucker, LB Jake Knott, OT Matt Tobin, OT Dennis Kelly, WR BJ Cunningham
Active for the first time for the Raiders are WR Juron Criner, OT Menelik Watson, and LB Martez Wilson.
Criner is active due in part to Brice Butler's two drops last week versus the Steelers and because Andre Holmes tweaked his hamstring in practice Thursday.
Martez Wilson was claimed off waivers from the Saints two weeks ago and makes his first appearance after being inactive last week.
Menelik Watson has been injured all season to this point and will back up both offensive tackle spots behind starters Khalif Barnes and Matt McCants.
The UC Davis marching band is on the field forming all kinds of things like the Raiders' shield, the shield face, and a helmet.
Ray Guy has lit the torch. Game on.
