DJ Hayden misses another practice, likely out vs Giants

For a second straight day, Raiders rookie cornerback D.J. Hayden missed practice with a groin injury. He suffered the injury in practice on Wednesday according to Dennis Allen.

The rookie had a rough game last Sunday against the Eagles but the indication is that he didn't suffer the injury in the game. No word yet on the severity of the injury or a timetable for return but it is at least bad enough to hold him out of practice.

Missing Friday's practice is usually a tell tale sign a player will not suit up Sunday. He will likely be replaced in the game by cornerback Phillip Adams as the team's nickel corner.

Also missing practice Friday were Darren McFadden (hamstring), Tony Pashos (hip), Matt McCants (toe), Tyvon Branch (ankle), Juron Criner (shoulder). and Kaluka Maiava (rib) which puts them as most likely not playing as well.

This would have Rashad Jennings and Menelik Watson getting the starts at running back and right tackle respectively.
