Denarius Moore, Mike Brisiel return to practice for Raiders, Darren McFadden does not

The Raiders got a couple of starters back at practice on Wednesday in the form of wide receiver Denarius Moore and right tackle, Mike Brisiel. Darren McFadden is still out with an ankle injury. This according to several media members present at practice. Scott Bair from CSN Bay Area sums it up nicely:

Moore had been out the past three weeks with a shoulder injury. He was the team's number one receiver when he left and was replaced by Andre Holmes in the starting lineup. In his absence, Rod Streater has taken the team lead in receiving. Moore was on pace for a 1000 yards on the season before he went out injured. He sits at 569 yards now with three games remaining.

Brisiel left the game against the Cowboys two weeks ago with a couple of lower leg injuries. He missed last week's game against the Jets. Lucas Nix replaced him at right guard. Brisiel has been bothered by injuries more and more as the season goes along and his performance has suffered for it. Injuries have been a problem for him his entire career including being bothered by a nagging ankle injury all of last season.

At this point it isn't really news that Darren McFadden is not practicing although its worth noting to see if he indeed does sit out the remainder of this season as he head toward free agency.

The Raiders are set for a touch game against the 10-3 Chiefs this week so having two of their starters back would help a lot. Whether either or both end up actually returning to action Sunday is still uncertain.
