Last day of Pro Bowl voting: Some Raiders who may deserve your vote

New, comments
Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Today is the final day fans can vote on the Pro Bowl for this season. You may or may not feel like there are any Raiders worthy of being sent to the Pro Bowl this season, but that's not to say you have to vote for only Raiders players. But, there are a few Raiders players who may deserve your consideration.

Stefen Wisniewski has been among the best centers in the NFL this season. He has allowed the fewest quarterback pressures of any center in the AFC and is one of only four AFC centers to not have given up a sack this season. He doesn't have single negative grade in any category according to Pro Football Focus.

Marcel Reece has had a down year by his standards. But it's still better than most NFL fullbacks. No other AFC fullback has more rushing yards as he does (218) and no other fullback with at least 30 carries has a better yards per carry average (4.7). His two touchdowns are best in the AFC among fullbacks. He has also caught 31 balls for 320 yards and two touchdowns this season. Reece gets high marks in both pass and run blocking. According to Pro Football Focus, the only fullback who has a better overall grade than Reece is Chiefs fullback, Anthony Sherman. But unlike Sherman, Reece doesn't have a negative grade in any category.

Kevin Burnett is third in the AFC in tackles among 4-3 outside linebackers. Of those, only Cincinnati's Vontaze Burfict grades out higher.

Taiwan Jones has been one of the best special teams gunners in the NFL this season. He sits third in the NFL in special teams tackles (15). Also unlike the other top gunners, Jones can also return kicks.

Marquette King has the best yards per punt average (49.0) in the NFL. Unfortunately he's also second in the NFL in touchbacks but even with the touchbacks, he is eighth in the league in net yards.

Head on over to the Pro Bowl ballot to cast your vote.
