Al Davis memorial combine freaks: Tight End

The top athletic performances in the 2013 NFL scouting combine.

USA TODAY Sports

Al Davis was known for his penchant for drafting top athletic talent who performed well in the scouting combine so in his honor, we detail the best performances in athletic drills in this year's combine.

This time we honor the tight ends. The last combine top performer Al Davis chose at tight end was Zach Miller. He finished 3rd in the 3-cone, and 5th in the broad jump. He also went after former wide receiver, David Ausberry late in the 2011 draft with the intention of converting him to tight end.

Here are those tight ends who had the top athletic numbers in the 2013 nfl scouting combine:

Chris Gragg -- Best 40-yard dash (4.50), best broad jump (10'5"), 3rd 3-cone (7.08),

Matt Furstenburg -- 2nd in 40-yard dash (4.62), 2nd vertical leap (35.5), 4th 20-yard shuttle, 4th 60-yard shuttle (11.76)

Jake Stoneburner -- 3rd in 40-yard dash (4.65), 5th vertical leap (34.5), 4th broad jump (9'8"), best 20-yard shuttle, best 60-yard shuttle (11.50),

Tyler Eifert -- 4th in 40-yard dash (4.68), 3rd bench press (22), 2nd vertical leap (35.5), 2nd (9'11"), Best 3-cone (6.92), 3rd 20-yard shuttle, 2nd 60-yard shuttle (11.52),
