Free Agent running back Rashad Jennings said today that he worked out for the Raiders.

The Raiders have shifted their attention to the offensive side of the ball today. They have reportedly worked out quarterbacks Tyler Thigpen and Seneca Wallace along with running backs Bernard Scott and Rashard Jennings.

Jennings confirmed the visit on his Twitter and Facebook page.

The Raiders have yet to confirm the visit.

All of these players are career backups looking for a shot. Jennings backed up Maurice Jones-Drew with the Jaguars the past four seasons in Jacksonville. In his first two seasons, he was averaging over five yards per carry when stepping in for MJD. Last season, when Jones-Drew went out with an injury, Jennings had his best chance to make a case for himself, but in six starts he averaged just 2.8 yards per carry.

If signed, he would instantly be the primary backup to Darren McFadden. The Raiders lost their backup Mike Goodson in free agency and have yet to replace him.
