The NFL was supposed to be releasing the 2013 schedule on Tuesday of this week. But they have now pushed back the release date and have not pinned down a date in which the schedule will be announced.
The hope and expectation is it will be released within the next two weeks - prior to the upcoming NFL draft - but nothing is certain.
We already know what teams the Raiders will be playing. The questions is simply in what order they will play them. Here are the home and away opponents for the Raiders this season:
Home
Broncos, Chargers, Chiefs, Jaguars, Titans, Eagles, Redskins, Steelers
Away
Broncos, Chargers, Chiefs, Colts, Texans, Cowboys, Giants, Jets
With the Raiders set to head to New York twice, they would prefer those meetings happen early in the season, before the weather gets bad.
For fans, it is about marking their calendars and for those who don't have season tickets, purchasing tickets to the games they would like to attend.
