Sports takes a backseat today with the tragic events at the Boston Marathon today. I am taking a moment to pass along the thoughts and prayers of the Raiders as well as several Raiders players.
As of the time of this article, a reported 2 people have died and 23 injured in two explosions which occurred in the crowd at the finish line of the Boston Marathon in downtown Boston.
The incident occurred as the Raiders were beginning their off-season workouts today. As soon as the players were able to send their messages of thoughts and prayers to those affected by the explosions as well as their families they took to social media. Here are what they said.
Sincere prayers and well wishes to all those affected by today's events in Boston.
