Broncos may be without Von Miller to face Raiders on Monday Night Football

Broncos pass rusher Von Miller is facing a four game suspension that would have him out for their week three meeting with the Raiders.

The reports are coming in that Broncos' pass rush specialist, Von Miller, is facing a four-game suspension for violating the league's substance abuse policy. ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting he popped positive for Marijuana and another substance which is being reported as Mollies aka "Ecstacy".

According to Mike Klis, this isn't the first time for Miller:

The suspension is currently in appeals but barring this being some kind of huge error, the odds are pretty good it would hold, especially with the previous positive test.

Miller's suspension would be for the first four games of the season which would include the Broncos' week three game in Denver on Monday Night Football against the Raiders. Replacing Miller in the lineup would be former Chargers' veteran, Shaun Phillips.

This would also mean the Broncos would be without both of their top pass rushers from last season. Elvis Dumervil was the other and due to a paperwork faxing mishap, he was not re-signed and left to join the Baltimore Ravens as a free agent.

Everyone is expecting this game to be a blowout victory for the Broncos but if the Broncos can't rush the passer, the Raiders could have a legitimate shot at making a game of it.
