Raiders hold fan contest to sing National Anthem at Preseason game vs Cowboys on August 9th

Have you ever dreamed of being in front of a crowd of 50,000+ people soulfully belting out the song of our great country? Do you think each time that you see someone sing the National Anthem that you could've done it better if somebody would just give you a chance? Do you just want an excuse to get on the field by the players before an NFL football game and happen to have an amazing voice?

If you thought yes to any of those questions well then do I have a contest for you! The Raiders are holding a 2013 Raiders Preseason Anthem Contest in which they will be searching the likes of the general public for a person just like you to go to the O.Co Coliseum to sing the National Anthem for the first Raiders preseason game against the Dallas Cowboys on August 9th.

All entries must be sent in by August 5th, at 9am Pacific Time. There are two ways to enter this contest. One way is to go to Raiders.com and fill out the form on the page and include a link to a hosted video of you performing the National Anthem. The other way is to go to Raiders.com and download, then print the entry form and mail a DVD of you performing the national anthem and the filled out form to:

All contestants under the age of 18 must choose option number 2 and submit the printed form and send a DVD to enter. Either option is acceptable if you are 18 or older.

Here is your chance to sing the National Anthem at an NFL football game, remember you can't win if you don't enter! Someone has to win, so why not you? If you are a terrible singer then that is why not you, but if you are a good singer then give it a try!
