As has been the case each game week of Raiders' training camp, they got several players back the first day of game week. This week was no different. It's Monday in the week leading into their third preseason game and they got four players back from injury.

There were four players returning today, three of which are either starters or key components for this team. They were OG Mike Brisiel, WR Jacoby Ford, DT Vance Walker, and CB Chimdi Chekwa.

Brisiel played last Friday but was ineffective due to a lingering injury. He was back practicing but didn't resume his first team duties at right guard. Lucas Nix remained the first team right guard in team sessions. We'll see how he progresses throughout the week leading up to the game.

Jacoby Ford has been out most of camp and has yet to play in a preseason game. He returned for a few days a couple weeks ago but then went out injured again.

Vance Walker has been out a lot of camp as well. He also hasn't played in a preseason game. His wife had a child which had him out some time and he was also out with an undisclosed injury.

Chimdi Chekwa was at practice yesterday but not participating. He was back today.

This leaves the Raiders with 16 players injured. Juron Criner, Pat Sims, Kevin Burnett, Menelik Watson, and Keenan Clayton were all working out on the side and look like they could be close to returning.
