As the media window closed today, the Raiders began their team sessions. Getting the first snaps with the first team were Terrelle Pryor at quarterback and Menelik Watson at left tackle.
This week Dennis Allen hinted that Terrelle Pryor may get some work with the first team.
"I think we're going to look at that a little bit, but we'll see as the week goes on the direction we go there," Allen said of whether Pryor would see work with the first team.
Menelik Watson returned to practice on the final day of camp last Wednesday. He saw some work at left tackle then but not with the first team. Alex Barron had been the first team left tackle since Jared Veldheer went down with a torn triceps muscle.
While Alex Barron improved in the game on Friday against the Bears, he was terrible the previous week against the Saints. Raiders need to look at all their options at the position.
