NFL Week 2 Early games open thread

Chat here with Raiders fans during today's early games.

With the Raiders set to kick off this afternoon in their home opener, everyone will be watching the early games warming up to see them face the Jaguars. There are some interesting match-ups on tap for the early part of the day.

Of particular interest to Raiders fans will be the division games. An old fashioned game of Cowboys and ‘Indians' is going down in Kansas City as the former Dallas Texans face the current Dallas Cowboys. The Chiefs beat up on the hapless Jaguars last week and will now face a real test. New Chiefs' head coach Andy Reid knows the Cowboys well as the former Eagles head coach of 14 years faced them twice a season. Should be a great game.

Speaking of the Eagles, former head coach of the high-octane Oregon Ducks is the head man in Philadelphia now. The Chargers come to town to see what he has in store for them. This new Eagles offense has already showed some exciting tricks in a win over Mike Shanahan's Redskins squad last week. Now it will be fun to watch them run the Chargers off the field.

Other games happening in the early going are the Cleveland Browns versus the stolen Cleveland Browns (Baltimore Ravens). Also the former Houston Oilers faces the and the current Houston Texans.

Adrian Peterson -- who ran for a long touchdown on his first carry of the season -- and the Vikings will face the Bears and new head coach, former Raiders offensive coordinator, Mark Trestman.

Robert Griffin III and the Redskins travel to Lambeau to face Aaron Rodgers and the Packers.

We get to see the Colts face another team (Dolphins) to see if the Raiders are better than expected or the Colts are worse.

Rounding out the early games are the Bills vs Panthers and Rams vs Falcons.
