Raiders strength and conditioning coach Al Miller will not return

The Raiders will part ways with Al Miller as the team's strength and conditioning coach. According to the official list of coaches who will return next season, former assistant strength and conditioning coach, John Grieco has been promoted to take Miller's place.

Miller had spent the last two seasons with the Raiders as strength and conditioning coach. He has been coaching at the NFL level for over 24 years and was a memer of the inaugural USA Strength and Conditioning Hall of Fame class.

He had previously spent nine seasons as the strength and conditioning coach for the Falcons and before that spent time with the Giants, and Broncos.

Grieco had been the assistant strength and conditioning coach under Miller the past two seasons with the Raiders. It was his first job at the NFL level after 15 years at the collegiate level. He came to the Raiders after two seasons as the director of strength and conditioning at University of Louisiana-Monroe. Prior to that he spent four seasons as director of strength and conditioning at UNLV.
