Another day, another bowl game. Tonight it's the Discover Orange Bowl which pits the Clemson Tigers versus the Ohio State Buckeyes. Kick off happens at 5:30 Pacific Time on ESPN. Here are the players to watch in the game:
Clemson
WR Sammy Watkins -- Many consider him to be the best wide receiver in the country. He will look to cement his already high draft status in this game. No place better than a big BCS bowl game to show off a player's skills.
QB Tajh Boyd -- Boyd was a Heisman favorite coming into the season and then fell out of the picture. He still have a pretty good season, throwing for 3,473 yards with 29 touchdown passes.
LT Brandon Thomas -- The senior left tackle is being scouted as a solid guard prospect in the pros which raises his overall value.
Ohio State
RB Carlos Hyde -- Despite missing the first three games of the season, Hyde still ran for more than 1,400 yards; he went for nearly 250 in two of Ohio State's last four contests. Not even Michigan State's fantastic defense could keep him under control.
QB Braxton Miller -- Does much of his work on the ground as evidenced by his second-straight 1,000 yard rushing season (ah, those mobile Buckeye quarterbacks). He has just under 2,000 yards passing this season with 22 touchdowns through the air and another 10 touchdowns on the ground.
OLB Ryan Shazier -- Junior linebacker with speed and talent. How he plays in this game could help him make his decision whether to enter the draft or go back to school.
