Budweiser 2014 Super Bowl commercial is early favorite

New, comments

This ad is a follow-up of sorts from their popular ad that ran during last year's Super Bowl that showed the attachment between a man and the horse he raised from birth. Here is that ad:

This ad takes that bond a step farther to the one formed between a dog and a horse. It is accompanied by the song "Let Her Go" by Passenger.

A woman adopts a golden retriever puppy from the man after the pup had become "best buds" with a Clydesdale. The puppy keeps escaping to return to see it's friend back at the ranch. Eventually -- and after the shocking sight of being surrounded on the road by giant horses on every side -- it seems they just give up and let the two hang out together.

It's a nice ad, although I much prefer the one they released for Bud Light in 2012 which promoted rescue dogs of which I am a big fan. See that here:

This new one kind of promotes private breeders. But it is a touching ad all the same. Not sure what it has to do with the product, but you could say that about nearly every ad that is shown during the Super Bowl.
