For the third time this season, the Raiders have sold out their home game. Last week it was against the division rival Chargers. This time the sellout is more of an accomplishment because it comes against the Cardinals who are not even in the Raiders conference, let alone division.
Out of division games are usually the hardest to sellout, especially for a team like the Raiders who have yet to get a win this season. The Raiders also sold out the home opener against the out-of-division Houston Texans.
This is now 13-straight home games and 26 of the last 27 games in Oakland which have been televised locally for the Raiders (not including the game in London which was also sold out). The last blacked out home game came against Cleveland in week 13 of the 2012 season.
With Mt Davis tarped over, O.co Coliseum seats about 54,000. The Raiders have just seven regular season home games this season with one of those home games having been played in London.
