The Raiders and Cardinals are set to face off at 1:25pm Pacific (4:25 Eastern) for their week 7 match-up. This is looking like one of the more intriguing games for the Raiders this season with a great many storylines and a Raiders squad coming back from their best offensive game of the season.

Derek Carr showed last week against the Chargers that he can make all the throws asked of him. He had career highs of 282 yards and four passing touchdowns against the stout Chargers defense. The Raiders fell short on a late Chargers touchdown drive, followed by a game-ending interception.

Carr and the still winless Raiders face another tough team today in the Cardinals. The redbirds are known for their defense but this season their offense has stepped up as well and have played nearly mistake-free football.

Carson Palmer will lead the Cardinals' offensive attack against a porous Raiders defense which has little pass rush or run stopping abilities. Without a change in that arena, the Cardinals will carve up the Raiders' defense and control the clock.

I expect this to be a pretty good game. Let's hope that holds true. As always, you can follow me on Twitter by clicking the button below.
