NFL week 5 game picks: Raiders guaranteed not to lose this week

There was a shuffling in the staff rankings in picks this week. It was probably the most all-over-the-map pick results we've had this season.

Moving into the lead was yours truly with a second-straight week with the most correct picks. My 9-4 record this week easily bested a field of staff prognosticators which had just one other winning record for the week - RDreamer came in with a 7-6 mark.

I did it in part by being the only one to pick the Giants to win in Washington and the Chiefs to beat the Patriots -- Both complete blowouts as it turned out.

The cellar dweller this week with a basket of lotion was Marcus who came in with a 3-10 mark. Asher was just above that with a 4-9 mark. They both were the only ones to have the Bills to win in Houston, and the Eagles to win in San Francisco. They also both had the Raiders winning in London. It gets the hose again.

There were a total of five consensus picks and we were 2-3 in those picks. Rough week to be certain.

This week, we can all agree the 0-4 Raiders will not lose. They are on their bye week. A brief moment of respite as they prepare for a brutal stretch run with a new head coach.

We all also agree the Packers, Eagles, Saints, Cowboys, Lions, Steelers, Chargers, Bengals, and Seahawks will win their games - a total of nine consensus picks.

Going rogue this week was RDreamer who was the only one to have the Panthers over the Bears, Ravens over the Colts, and Chiefs over the 49ers. I went out on a limb picking the Titans over the Browns and Marcus has the Cardinals taking out the Broncos in Denver.
