NFL week 8 game picks: Winnable game in Cleveland?

Week 8 begins tonight so it's time for our S&BP staff game picks. It was another good week for the staff picks with all winning records, and the lowest totals at 9-6. We were also 7-3 in consensus picks.

The rankings remained unchanged this week as yet again, Tyler and myself tied at 10-5 to remain tied for the top spot. But, the best record last week went to Marcus with an 11-4 mark. He did it primarily by being the only one to pick the Chiefs over the Chargers in San Diego. Then again, he was also the only one to pick the Panthers over the Packers (for shame, Marcus) and his week best wasn't enough to crawl out of last place.

This week there is just six across-the-board picks from the staff - and the Raiders are not one of them. After the Browns gave the Jaguars their first win last week, Tyler and Marcus think the Raiders will get their first win as well. And we'll find out tomorrow what Raiderdamus has to say. The consensus picks are the Texans, Seahawks, Dolphins, Colts, Packers, and Cowboys.

We also have quite a few rogue picks this week. RDreamer is taking the Chargers winning at Mile High and the Cardinals taking down the Eagles, Asher has the Falcons in London, Jeff has the Rams winning the Missouri state battle and the Bears winning in Foxboro, and Marcus has the Bengals beating the Ravens. A lot of bold predictions there. We'll see if they pay off.
