NFL week 5 late games TV schedule: AFC West rivals on tap

New, comments

Chat with Raiders fans as all three AFC West rivals play across the late game schedule.

Peter Aiken

All three afternoon games feature an AFC West team, so as a Raiders fan, there is much in which to be interested.

One of those rivals (Chiefs) plays another Raiders rival - the Bay Area rival 49ers. That could make for a tough choice in who to choose. Although, since the 49ers are only rivals by geography, it makes far more sense to hope for a Niners win in this one.

Then it's The Cardinals with their several former Raiders who head to Denver to face the Broncos. Though former Raiders quarterback, Carson Palmer will not play. Both teams are undefeated (3-0) on the season so this one should be a good game.

The third game features the Raiders next opponent -- the Chargers -- against the Raiders first opponent this season - the Jets. While the Chargers are looking even more powerful this season than last season, the Jets' only win was beating the Raiders in the season opener. Philip Rivers is on a tear and is a viable MVP candidate this season.

Here is the TV schedule of the afternoon games:

Chiefs at 49ers (1:25pm PT, 4:25pm ET)
Jets at Chargers (1:25pm PT, 4:25pm ET)

Cardinals at Broncos (1:05pm PT, 4:05pm ET)
