Election day: Raiders Newcomer of the Midterm

New, comments
Ezra Shaw

As we continue our election day coverage, we move to the newcomers. We covered the rookies, who are in their own category, so this one is for the free agent additions. Here are the candidates:

James Jones -- Leads the team with 39 catches for 443 yards and he's second on the team with 3 touchdowns.

Benson Mayowa -- Came in for Lamarr Woodley in week seven. He started week 8 and played 55% of the snaps last week against the Seahawks. He has 8 tackles (4 solo) in a little over two games.

Donald Penn -- Has given up just one sack this season and one hit along with 11 hurries. Has been one of the few bright spots on the Raiders offensive line.

Justin Tuck -- Has played in seven of the team's eight games, starting four. He is tied for the team lead with 2.0 sacks and has 24 tackles (14 solo) on the season.

C.J. Wilson -- Initially a backup, run stopper at defensive end, earned three starts this season and is tied for the team lead with 2.0 sacks. He has 15 tackles (10 solo) in rotation.
