Raiders to sign autographs for Toys for Tots

It's that time of year. When the Raiders team up with the Marines to help brighten the holidays for thousands of children through the Toys for Tots program. And in exchange for your donation, the Raiders will brighten your holiday season with an autograph.

Over the next two Mondays before Christmas -- December 15 and 22 from 6pm to 8pm -- Raiders players will be out at the Southland Mall in Hayward signing autographs in exchange for new, unwrapped toys valued at $20 or more.

Players signing Monday December 14 will be Brice Butler, Rod Streater, Maurice Jones-Drew, Darren McFadden, and Marcel Reece. The players who will be on hand for the December 22 signing have not been announced.

Two separate groups of players along with the Raiderettes as well as the Raider Rusher will be on hand both days.

If you can't make it out to the signings and would still like to donate or are just extra generous, there will be another opportunity prior to the Raiders final home game December 21. They will accept both toys as well as monetary donations (cashola) all to help needy children in and around the Oakland area.

Marines will be stationed in Raiderville, as well as the West Side Plaza, near the BART entrance, and Gates A, B, C, and D, from 8 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. on game day.

You'll feel like a winner even before you enter the stadium.
