Each week the draft position of the Raiders changes. With a logjam of bad teams at the top and the Raiders having the greatest strength of schedule, every win sends them on a tumble and every loss seems to creep them back toward the top.
Coming into the week, the Raiders were sitting at 5 in the draft order. But with their loss in Kansas City coupled with the Jets winning in Tennessee, they have jumped up to fourth in the draft order. Here is the current top of the draft order as it stands today:
|Pick||Team||Record||Strength of Schedule|
|1||TB||2 - 12||104 - 114 - 3|
|2||TEN||2 - 12||110 - 113 - 1|
|3||JAX||2 - 12||114 - 109 - 1|
|4||OAK||2 - 12||131 - 93|
|5||WAS||3 - 11||111 - 113|
|6||NYJ||3 - 11||123 - 100|
|7||ATL||5 - 9||105 - 113 - 3|
Technically speaking, the Raiders are NOT fourth in the draft order because Thursday night the Titans and Jaguars will face each other. That means the Raiders are actually THIRD in the draft order because the Titans and Jaguars can't both lose out the season.
They are currently guaranteed a pick in the top six of the draft.
