As the season heads into its final two weeks, any injury could be cause for a trip to injured reserve. This week it's cornerback Tarell Brown whose season is over with a foot injury that had him ruled out for this Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills.
Brown had started all 14 games this season at right cornerback for the Raiders. He and Carlos Rogers were both brought over from the 49ers and signed this off-season to one-year free agent contracts. Rogers went down with a knee injury in week 8 and was placed on injured reserve on November 29.
In a corresponding move, the Raiders signed linebacker Spencer Hadley from the practice squad. This will be his first career NFL game.
The rookie linebacker joined the Raiders in training camp. He was cut prior to the season and placed on the practice squad.
In four seasons at BYU, the 6-foot-1, 227-pounder played in 43 games, totaling 149 tackles (77 solo), 4.5 sacks, two interceptions, two forced fumbles and five fumble recoveries. His senior season was cut short after six games due a knee injury.
