NFL Draft order 2015: Raiders fall, but not far

New, comments
Cary Edmondson-USA TODAY Sports

Coming into this week, the Raiders were sitting in the fourth spot in the draft order. That was definitely going to change due to the Titans and Jaguars playing each other. With the Jaguars winning, it moved the Raiders in line for the third overall draft pick.

No sooner did the Raiders move into that third spot but they gave it back to the Jaguars. That's what happens when the Raiders go out and win a game, especially against yet another team with a winning record.

We knew that no matter what the Raiders did these final two games, they wouldn't drop below sixth. That was helped Saturday when the Redskins won, bringing them to 4-11 on the season, which meant even with the win today, the Raiders would fall no farther than the fifth overall spot.

This means the Raiders can pick no higher than third overall and no lower than six overall.

Here is how the draft order currently stands:

Pick Team Record Strength of Schedule
1 TB 2 - 13 114 - 122 - 3 0.4833
2 TEN 2 - 13 118 - 120 - 1 0.4958
3 JAX 3 - 12 122 - 116 - 1 0.5126
4 NYJ 3 - 12 132 - 107 0.5523
5 OAK 3 - 12 137 - 101 0.5756
6 WAS 4 - 11 118 - 122 0.4917
7 CHI 5 - 10 125 - 114 - 1 0.5229
