Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

Last week was quite the embarrassment for the Raiders as they suffered a brutal 52-0 loss to the Rams. This week, they take on the San Francisco 49ers in a rivalry that promises to be emotional. Which players should you start, sit, or potentially add to your fantasy teams?

Start

Colin Kaepernick

While he has taken heat for a poor season, in terms of fantasy Kaepernick has been solid. He has scored under 13 points just three times this season. Last week, the Raiders defense gave up 21.42 points to Shaun Hill as their secondary was terrible. Kaepernick is much better than Hill and has more offensive weapons, this is a good matchup for him.

San Francisco Defense

They are actually my starting defense this week as the Raiders offense has struggled to find a rhythm. Their defense has suffered from injuries but their depth and talent still make them pretty good. Rookies Chris Borland and Aaron Lynch have been on a tear these last couple of weeks. Combine the talent and great matchup and it looks to be a good week for the defense.

Phil Dawson

Dawson is having an average year for a kicker, but the matchup against the Raiders defense makes him a start this week. Kaepernick should set the offense up for plenty of field goal and extra point attempts. The Raiders have given up the 5th most fantasy points to kickers this season.

Sit

Raiders roster

With exception to the players listed under sleepers, just sit them. Yes they will probably be pumped for the game, but they are simply outmatched both in talent of the players and coaching staff.

Sleepers

Anquan Boldin

Boldin has been pretty good this year and had 19 points two weeks ago. He has a favorable matchup against a Raiders defense that struggled last week. Oakland has given up the 5th most fantasy points to wide receivers. While there are better options out there, if you are low on depth he is worth a start.

Latavius Murray

He has done nothing but impress this season and should be the Raiders starting running back. But because of their will to lose, the coaching staff will likely start Darren McFadden. The 49ers also have a good run defense and have given up the 8th fewest fantasy points to running backs. While Murray is recovering from a concussion, he still has a chance to light it up like he did against the Chiefs.

Frank Gore

He has struggled but still remains the starter. Oakland has given up the most fantasy points to running backs on the year so Gore has a very favorable matchup.
