Menelik Watson OUT, Sio Moore questionable on Raiders injury report

It is Friday and that means it is the day that the Raiders release their injury report for the upcoming week's match up. The Raiders are actually relatively healthy for this late in the season, but there are still some important players listed for the game against the San Francisco 49ers.

Menelik Watson is officially out after sustaining a lower leg/ankle injury last week against the St Louis Rams, he was hurt on one of Derek Carr's two interceptions in the game. He will be replaced at his right tackle position by Khalif Barnes. The other two players listed as officially out are TE Brian Leonhardt and rookie S Jonathon Dowling, both reserve players.

Leonhardt is the bigger issue as with him out it leaves Mychal Rivera as the only healthy tight end for the game. With him officially out the Raiders may make a move to add another tight end, though it is now getting late in the week for that to happen.

The most important person on this list would have to be 2nd year OLB Sio Moore who will be a game time decision, he is officially listed as Questionable. He has been one of the bright spots on the Raiders defense so not having his energy in this rivalry game would be a big loss. If he were not able to go he would be replaced by either Jamar Chaney or Ray-Ray Armstrong, neither player being starter quality.

Raiders starting CB Tarell Brown is also listed as questionable. It would be a big loss for him personally to miss this game because the only other team he has been a part on was the 49ers. He was a starter there for the last several years before jumping across the Bay to the Raiders. He would be replaced by Chimdi Chekwa.
