The Raiders just got their guy in Bay Area product and former Packers wide receiver James Jones. It is a reported three-year deal with the team.

Jones, 29, is not flashy but he gets the job done. He has spent all seven of his NFL seasons with the Packers after the team made him their third round pick in 2007. He has always put up decent numbers and has been a fulltime starter the past two seasons in Green Bay and has put up career numbers because of it including an impressive 14 touchdown catches in 2012 and a career high 817 receiving yards last season.

Reggie McKenzie was in the Packers' front office when he was drafted and during his first five seasons in Green Bay and it was expected he would make a play for Jones. And nearly a week into free agency, a deal was struck.

This is a homecoming for Jones, who grew up in San Jose and attended San Jose State.
