Four of ten worst catch rates made up of current, former Raiders

There's another graphic out there that is a cruel reminder of some of the failings of the Raiders the past decade plus. And this one can't be blamed on someone "taking shots at the Raiders" as so many Raiders fans like to accuse analysts of doing.

This graphic was put out by Scott Kacsmar of Football Outsiders due to the 49ers signing Brandon Lloyd to a contract. In just so happens that regardless of the pass-catching inconsitencies of Lloyd, the Raiders receiving woes have him beat.

As you can see, Lloyd landed 12th on this list of the worst catch ratings over the past 15 years. Making up four of the top nine spots are former Raiders draft picks Louis Murphy, Darrius Heyward-Bey, and Denarius Moore along with Ashley Lelie who the Raiders signed for a season back in 2008.

Murphy frustrated Raiders fans with his troubles with dropping passes. Even so, it seems a bit surprising he is actually worse than none other than Drops Hella Balls himself (Darrius Heyward-Bey).

The only current Raider on this list is Denarius Moore. He too is known for making some pretty nice catches from time to time while also being known for concentration drops and questionable route running. He is rumored to be on the trade block should the Raiders go for a wide receiver high in the draft.
