The Raiders have added another leg to their off-season roster. The team announced they have signed former Stanford punter Daniel Zychlinski.

Zychlinski punted for the Cardinal from 2008-12, seeing action in 41 games, and punted 97 times for 4,096 yards (42.2 avg.). He had his best season as a fifth-year senior in 2012, punting 66 times for 2,846 yards and a 43.1 average, the fifth-best total in school history.

Each season teams bring in an extra punter and kicker (sometimes one guy to do both jobs) to ease the workload of the primary kicker and punter -- what is typically referred to as a camp leg. That's most likely what Zychlinski is for the Raiders. He isn't expected to challenge incumbant Marquette King for the job.
