The LSU Pro Day is this Wednesday. There are quite a few good looking prospects who will be on display there. Most notably quarterback Zach Mettenberger and his two top wide receiver targets, Odell Beckham Jr and Jarvis Landry. The Raiders could use probably any of the three but quarterback is taking priority these days and no position requires more of a character evaluation more.
The Raiders are among a handful of teams who are scheduled to meet privately with Mettenberger on Wednesday prior to hims throwing for scouts. This according to NFL Network's Albert Breer.

The 6-5, 240 pound quarterback is considered among the second tier quarterback prospects in this draft and is projected to come off the board between round two and four.
He has a big arm and his physical traits are ideal for an NFL quarterback. It's his pocket presence that concerns many. He is also coming off an ACL tear that will likely cause him not to be ready until the regular season.
For Raiders fans, they see an LSU quarterback and are understandably a little gun shy. Former number one overall pick, and collossal NFL draft bust Jamarcus Russell was a statuesque, big armed LSU quarterback. Matt Flynn, who the Raiders traded two draft picks to acquire, including this year's round five pick, was also an LSU quarterback. He lasted all of one game before being cut by the team early last season.
If the Raiders were to consider Mettenberger, it would be as a project.
