2014 NFL Draft: Damien 2-round mock draft 4.0

New, comments
Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

We are now exactly a month away from the 2014 NFL Draft. And to celebrate the occasion, it's time for a new mock draft. This time, I extend it into the second round.

1
Texans
*Blake Bortles QB UCF
Analysis: It is no secret the Texans desperately need a quarterback. Bortles has all the tools and no QB in this draft has a higher ceiling.
2
Rams
Jake Matthews OT Texas A&M
Analysis: There is always the possibility the Rams trade out of this spot but if they don’t, getting the top offensive tackle in this draft is a nice option.
3
Jaguars
*Jadeveon Clowney DE South Carolina
Analysis: The Jaguars need a quarterback but they also need a defensive end. In this case, you choose a talent like Clowney and figure out the QB situation later.
4
Browns
*Johnny Manziel QB Texas A&M
Analysis: Few teams can use the shot of adrenaline at the quarterback position that Manziel brings more than the Browns.
5
Raiders
*Sammy Watkins WR Clemson
Analysis: You want BPA, you got it. The Raiders get the best wide receiver in this draft. The complete package and an instant number one receiver on a team that needs one. Matt Schaub will very much enjoy having this weapon in the offense.
6
Falcons
Khalil Mack OLB Buffalo
7

*Mike Evans WR Texas A&M
