The Raiders could be doing some shuffling in the linebacking corps this year. With Khalil Mack on the field, Sio Moore saw some looks on the weakside. Dennis Allen confirmed after practice the Raiders are trying Moore at that position as part of an overall plan.
"Yeah, we're gonna..." Allen confirmed of Moore's work on the weak side. "I'll start off by saying this, we're gonna take a look at a lot of different people in a lot of different areas because we got a lot of new players on this football team and so as we get a better feel for these guys and we get a better opportunity to work with them, we'll settle in more on positions as we move along. But I think initially early we're gonna take a look at a lot of people in a lot of different areas."

Moore started all last season at strongside linebacker and finished the season landing on the All Rookie first team with 49 tackles (38 solo) and 4.5 sacks.
Coming out of college, Moore was a best fit at weakside linebacker but the Raiders moved him to the strong side while Kevin Burnett started at weakside linebacker. Burnett was absent from practice today and rookie Khalil Mack got a lot of work.
