In 2002 the San Diego Chargers used their 3rd round pick on a Safety named Brandon Taylor out of Louisiana State University. He played in 4 games and started one in his rookie season but a knee injury knocked him out for the rest of the season and he never returned to the active roster. Now the Chargers have given up on him altogether, cutting ties with the former high round draft pick.

Recently Cleveland Browns coach Mike Pettine made a strange claim that the New England Patriots had attained copies of the NY Jets playbook. Needless to say, Jets head coach Rex Ryan is not fond of that accusation. Now the boisterous Ryan has responded to the comments from Pettine, calling them ridiculous several times.
