AFC WEST
Broncos:
Oakland Raiders fans are counting the days until Peyton Manning retires but unfortunately it looks like they will be counting indefinitely. The 39 year old QB has maintained that he will play until he isn't capable of playing at an elite level anymore and that time certainly has not come yet. In fact, it hasn't even hit the radar screen yet.

The Denver Broncos have decided to move tackle Orlando Franklin inside to Guard and the transition did not start out smoothly. The problem wasn't Franklin's ability to play Guard, he is 6'7 and 320lbs with athleticism to go with it, but actually with his attitude to switching to the inside from his Tackle position. Now with the right attitude in place he is making the best of the situation.

Chargers:
San Diego Chargers beat writer tackles a few questions from fans during a chat session. He answers about Manti Te'o's development,. the status of Brandon Flowers, and whether to expect RB Danny Woodhead to still be on the team in 2015. It is a quick but informative read.

The Chargers off-season may have been "quiet" but don't assume that means they took a step back. New GM Tom Telesco is not interested in making the flashy moves, he wants to develop his roster and add through the draft (sound familiar Raider fans?). Just because they haven't made a big scene this off-season does not mean they are not getting better.

Chiefs:
The Kansas City Chiefs made a huge turnaround in year one of the Andy Reid era. Not only did they go from having the number 1 pick the year before to being a playoff team, but they did so while doing a complete overhaul of the roster. You might not have noticed how much has changed since Andy Reid and John Dorsey took over because a lot of the big names are the same, but the numbers are outrageous on this squads changing of the guard.

I have had a theory for awhile that teams should consider drafting wide receivers and convert them over to cornerbacks. They know the route trees, they can catch, and they know the perspective of the receiver they are covering. One such player to make that transition is KC's Marcus Cooper, and here is a study of him verses Peyton Manning last year.
