The Raiders have announced they have added three free agents to the team. They are WR/PR David Gilreath, K/P Michael Palardy, and WR Rahsaan Vaughn.

Vaughn is a former undrafted free agent out of Oregon. The 6-1, 190-pounds receiver originally signed with the New York Jets in 2013 but didn't make the final roster and spent some time on the Jets' practice squad. He is originally from Oakland and attended San Mateo Junior College where he earned First-Team All American honors. After transferring to Oregon as a Junior, he posted 21 catches for 259 yards over two seasons.

Gilreath is a return specialist and receiver. The 5-foot-9, 170 pounder has bounced around to practice squads over the past three seasons with the Colts, Bills, Steelers, Rams, and Buccaneers and spent three games with the Steelers in 2012. He was originally a 2011 undrafted free agent out of Wisconsin where he set Big Ten records for kickoff returns (135) and kickoff return yards (3,025).

Palardy is undrafted free agent kicker and punter ouf of the University of Tennessee. He hit 74 percent of his kicks last season and came on strong as a punter as well. He will pull double duties for the Raiders spelling Sebastian Janikowski at kicker and Maquette King at punter.

The addition of these three mean waiving others to make room. Undrafted receiver Noel Grigsby out of San Jose State was waived to make room for Gilreath, Former reserve/future signing Jared Green was waived in favor of Vaughn, and punter Daniel Zychlinski was waived and replaced by Palardy.
