The Raiders announced Thursday they have signed third-round draft pick G Gabe Jackson. The deal will be for the standard four years worth a total of approximately $2.9 million with a 2014 cap figure of $591k. Jackson is the final of the team's eight draft picks from the 2014 NFL Draft to sign a rookie contract.

The 6-3, 336 pound offensive guard was selected with the 81st overall pick in round three of May's draft.

The Raiders were sitting at pick 67 and swapped picks with the Dolphins to move down to pick 81. In the deal the Raiders received the Dolphins' fourth round pick (116).

He started all 52 games over four seasons at left guard over his four-year career at Mississippi State, where he was a two-time All-American selection and a two-time first-team All-SEC recipient. His senior year, he was awarded the Cornerly Trophy as the top collegiate player in the state of Mississippi and also claimed the Kent Hull Award as the top offensive lineman in Mississippi.

He is expected to compete for a starting job at left guard for the Raiders.

The Raiders now have all eight of their 2014 draft selections under contract before their third week of OTA's.
