Saturday night 49ers Legends lined up against a team of former NFL players from around the league in a charity flag football game to say farewell to Candlestick Park. There were said to be around 30,000 fans in attendance for the game which was not televised so the only way to view it was in person.

There were some ten former Raiders players in the game. Four of them were also former 49ers and played on their Legends squad and six who played on the All Star opposition team.

The 49ers technically pulled out the win 45-40 even though the final touchdown was a scripted pass from Joe Montana to Eddie Debartolo Jr who was then carried off the field after catching it. Here Karl Mondon, a photojournalist from the San Jose Mercury News took some video of the moment:

Though the game was 49ers-centric, as one would expect, there were some shots capturing a few of the former Raiders players in the game. Here Steve Corkran of the Bay Area News Group shares some shots he captured:
