The Oakland Raiders will be playing against the Miami Dolphins in London this year in Week 4. They will be doing so with the Dolphins missing their 2013 first round pick Dion Jordan. Jordan just got word that he will be suspended the first four games of 2014 for violating the leagues substance abuse rules regarding Performance Enhancing Drugs.

"I recently learned from the NFL that I tested positive for stimulants that are banned under the NFL policy," Jordan said in a statement in response to his suspension. "I worked carefully with my advisers and the union to investigate the test results, and I take full responsibility for the test results. I’m very sorry for the impact of this situation on my teammates, coaches, Stephen Ross, the entire Dolphins organization, fans and my family as well. I will continue to work extremely hard during training camp and preseason. During the suspension, I will stay in top shape and will be ready to contribute upon my return."

The Raiders are not sorry about the impact of his situation though, not unless an unknown player becomes a star in Jordan's absence anyway! Dion Jordan had been being talked about as a player that was putting in a lot of hard work to make up ground on his disastrous rookie season. He gained a lot of weight to fit into his DE role after failing to adjust to the switch from OLB last season.

The less pressure on Matt Schaub the better, especially against a team that has recently had it's way with the Raiders. The Dolphins have won 12 out of the last 16 meetings with Oakland since 1990, including 7 out of the last 8. Hopefully this year's match in London will end the Raiders losing streak to Miami, having Dion Jordan out will only help that cause.
