Raiders training camp injury update: Two first team linemen unable to finish practice

After a day off of camp in Tuesday, a few guys were able to get healthy. Monday saw the receiving corps getting banged up but that group got good news today with three receivers returning to action - Rod Streater, Jake Murphy, and Nick Kasa.

Streater and Murphy were both out on Monday with concussions and had to go through the concussion protocol before returning to action. Kasa had been on the PUP list for the first four days of camp with a hip flexor injury.

Kasa and Murphy's return put the tight end position at full strength. The receiver position still has a couple players out.

Not returning to action were Juron Criner and Greg Little. Both players went out with hamstring injuries on the third and fourth day of camp.

Leaving practice with injury today were Austin Howard, whose back tightened up on him, and Antonio Smith who had a groin issue. He had been out all of the off-season with a sports hernia. Hopefully this injury is unrelated. We'll see if they practice tomorrow.

Stepping in for Howard at right guard was rookie Gabe Jackson who previously was at left guard.

Still out are Kaluka Maiava (hamstring), Shelton Johnson (hamstring), and Marshall McFadden (hip flexor). The PUP list - now down to three -- consists of DJ Hayden (foot), Usama Young (quad), and Lucas Nix (knee). The NFI list is Stacy McGee and C.J. Wilson.
