The Twin Thomases are at it again in Denver. Julius and Demaryius Thomas are both top players in the NFL at their positions and a big reason is because of their route running ability. They are big, they can catch well, but where they run away from the competition is their impressive route running abilities. Especially when you combine that with the knowledge and accuracy that Peyton Manning brings to the table.

Speaking of Peyton Manning, once again he has a shot at adding to his ridiculously impressive trophy room. Fresh off of yet another MVP award, an NFL record 5th time, now Peyton has the opportunity to add two more ESPY awards too.

Yesterday the big news in the NFL was that last year's 3rd overall pick Dion Jordan was suspended for 4 games. That news dwarfed the news that a different player in the league was also suspended and that player is a Kansas City Chief. Their OL is already a question mark and now they will have to play the first four weeks without back-up linemen Rokevious Watkins. He has been suspended for violating the league's substance abuse policy.

How important is the pass rush in the NFL? To the Chiefs it continues to be a top priority with the addition of yet another impressive rusher in Dee Ford. Is pass rush so important that the use of another first-round pick in their already stacked defense was worth it?

What do Chris Davis' teammates think of his "Kick 6", 109 yard return of a missed field goal to seal the SEC Championship for Auburn? We don't know because he hasn't been talking about it. At least one Charger veteran says he respects Davis more for not bringing up his college stripes while he is trying to earn a spot in the NFL.

Eric Weddle is pretty amazing. There, I said it! The guy is just plain good, even if he is a Charger. Plus, he has an awesome beard too. He was honored by his fellow NFL peers by being voted into the Top 100 players of 2014 because, put very simply, he is a playmaker.

It is fair to say that the relationship between Robert Griffin III and Mike Shanahan did not end well. In fact, some people even felt the need to question what exactly it was that the team was playing for. With the next chapter starting now in Washington, RG3 is excited about everybody being on the same page. Aren't honeymoon periods fun?

Can you believe it was already 5 years since the tragic murder of former QB Steve McNair? Lovingly known as Air McNair, Steve made a lasting impression on millions of people with his talent, toughness, charisma and most importantly his generosity.  Here is an article remembering McNair on the 5 year anniversary of his untimely death.
