Raiders training camp injury update: Defensive line having groin pains

There was just one newly missing player at today's practice - Justin Tuck. Initially it was thought that the veteran defensive lineman may be getting a well-earned day off. It is about the time during camp where the vets can get some rest. But as it turns out, he was hurt.

Dennis Allen said after practice the Tuck has a groin issue that kept him from practicing today.

This comes after fellow defensive lineman, Antonio Smith missed practice on Thursday with groin issues of his own and missed practice again today. Allen said it's just the kind of thing that players go through in camp and doesn't appear concerned about Tuck or Smith's respective groins.

Leaving practice today was Denarius Moore who went down awkwardly from Carlos Rogers fighting for the ball with him. He got up slowly, walked gingerly back to the sideline and was taken to the clubhouse a few minutes later, accompanied by trainers. His injury is not yet known.

All others who were injured before remain sidelined. That group consists of Juron Criner (hamstring), Greg Little (hamstring), Kaluka Maiava (hamstring), Shelton Johnson (hamstring), and Marshall McFadden (hams... I mean hip flexor). The PUP list remains the same with DJ Hayden (foot), Usama Young (quad), and Lucas Nix (knee). Stacy McGee remains on the NFI list.
